Anthrax has already been used as an instrument of bioterror, is a significant danger now, and is usually fatal in its inhalational form. This course teaches you about the organism that causes anthrax, its transmission and prevention, its laboratory diagnosis, its clinical manifestations and diagnosis, its treatment, and the bioterror parameters of the disease. The course is geared to health care workers, but is clear enough for the general public to benefit. It is full of animations, videos, and narrations. Approved for national nursing contact hours--requires purchase of separate test.
