Viral hemorrhagic fevers are some of the most deadly and feared of the diseases on the planet, and they have the potential for use as weapons of mass destruction. This course, intended both for health care workers and the public, will teach you the organisms that cause hemorrhagic fevers, how they are transmitted and how one can slow down their transmission, prevention, their diagnosis, clinical manifestations, therapy, and their bioterror potential. It contains videos, narrations, and animations. Approved for 4 hours of EMS Continuing Education in Maryland. Approved for national nursing contact hours--requires purchase of separate test.
