Choosing a Learning Format Large groups or organizations will first want to decide what kind of Learning Management System (LMS) to use. Many organizations have one, and we often provide content to these LMSs for them. Examples of our partners are Saba, Geolearning, and Cornerstone. We have implemented our solutions on other systems as well. Most LMSs are rather expensive (often $30 per person per year) but contain many useful and complex features. We offer customers of at least $1000 of our courses on our website free use of our LMS, which we recommend for straightforward, simple projects and organizations. You cannot beat the price as long as you realize its limitations; the special features you have access to are a spreadsheet of course completions and ability to use discussion tools. We highly recommend the computer-based programs as they provide interactivity, media, and a certificate of completion. Another option for small to medium size groups is the multi-user CD. The license limits it to only one installation ever on one computer. For those organizations that have a central computer station for its employees, this is a good solution. Otherwise, the best option is buying individual CDs or web courses. For those who are less comfortable with computers, we have text material in the form of guidebooks. Some of our guidebooks offer nursing credits as part of the book; if the nurse tears off the original credit pages at the end and submits them, he/she can obtain national nursing credits. You may also purchase by using a fax form. Click here for the form. If you have a purchase order number, and you are purchasing online by credit card, you can enter it under instructions when you purchase and it will appear on your receipt. If you wish to handle purchase orders by paper, you may use the price list here, add 25% for handling the invoicing for orders under $500, and send your information to sales@uohc.com. After payment is received, we will contact you about setting up your users on the online system (if you order web courses) or will ship you the books or CDs that you ordered. Returns policy: We will only return money for courses purchased if you notify us immediately that you took a course by mistake and you have only gone a few pages into the course.
